Is the Digital Product Passport mandatory for textiles yet?

No. ESPR is in force as the framework, but the textile-specific requirements only become binding once the delegated act is adopted, expected in 2027. Compliance is realistically from 2028 to 2029. Seamdex exists so you can be ready early, not because you are late.

What do I need to get started?

A purchase order as CSV or Excel and basic product information. Seamdex maps your columns automatically and the editor guides you through the rest. If you use the SPY ERP, you can import orders directly.

How do suppliers add their data?

Two ways: send them a CSV template to fill in, or give them a supplier portal login where they enter data themselves. Factories and economic operators can also get partner access with scoped editing rights.

Can passports run on our own domain?

Yes. You can serve your public passport pages from your own subdomain, themed with your brand colours and logo.

Do you integrate with our ERP?

SPY ERP is integrated today: connect it with a read-only token and import purchase orders directly. Enterprise clients can also post purchase orders and manage products through the REST API. For every other system, the CSV and Excel import works with any export.

What happens when we publish a passport?

Publishing creates an immutable snapshot, so the passport your customer scans is exactly the record you approved. Corrections happen by publishing a new version, with an audit trail.
