Extended Producer Responsibility makes brands contribute to the end-of-life cost of what they sell. The contribution depends on what you placed on each market, by weight and by material. Those numbers are already in your product records.
What the export contains
Two sheets.
Garments, one row per style and batch: purchase order, supplier, quantity, garment weight, fabric and yarn weight, trims weight, the fibre breakdown, recycled content with its split between post-consumer and post-production, the microplastic flag, packaging per garment, packaging at box level, packaging total for the market, and the batch totals in kilograms.
Fibres, one row per fibre per style: the weight per garment, the share of the garment, and the weight for the whole batch.
Published products export from their frozen snapshot, so the figures match the passport. Drafts export from the current record.
Export for one purchase order
Open the purchase order and choose the EPR export. Pick CSV or Excel. CSV gives the garments sheet only; Excel gives both.
Export for a period
Open EPR Reporting, set the date range, and export. The range covers published products, so a quarterly or annual report is one export.
Reading the report page
The EPR page shows the same data as a report rather than a file: tonnage by quarter, by fibre and by packaging type, with a breakdown per purchase order. Use it to sanity-check the figures before you file anything.
Filing with a scheme
Every country runs its own scheme with its own form and its own deadlines, and most formats are still being written. Denmark, for instance, must have a scheme running by April 2028 and has not published a reporting format yet.
Until a scheme publishes its format, export the generic sheets and map the columns into whatever form you are given. The underlying figures do not change.
Getting the numbers right
Garment weight is calculated from fabric weight, width and consumption plus trims, not typed. If a weight looks wrong, the input is wrong, and the Report tab shows you which one.
Packaging must be on the record. Packaging that lives in a separate spreadsheet will be missing from the report.
Destination market matters. Fees are per country of placement, so a brand selling in several markets reports in each.
Recycled content needs its source recorded, post-consumer or post-production, because eco-modulated fees are expected to treat them differently.
What the fee will be
Not known yet anywhere. Contributions are expected to be eco-modulated on weight and recyclability, and the criteria are set per country. What you can do now is make sure the data behind the fee is defensible.
Scheme filings
The Filings tab on EPR Reporting turns the same figures into a national scheme's declaration layout: pieces per category for France (Refashion), kilograms per category for the Netherlands (UPV Textiel), and a generic layout for other markets. Set the markets on each purchase order first so the pieces are split by country. See File an EPR declaration.
